Regardless of how you feel about mining, the plethora of reality tv shows is really obnoxious. Deadliest Catch was cool for the first few seasons, but now cable networks are throwing themselves at any odd profession: Oil drilling, Moonshining, Fishing, Marijuana farming, Trucking, etc. They’re all limited and partly scripted, and I’ve had my fill. I’d rather watch COPS. Now that’s reality; the rest is just glorified bullshit.
